Arboricultural Environment in Skiatook, OK
Skiatook sits beside Skiatook Lake on the Osage border, where lake acreages and cedar-choked hillsides need clearing and wildfire-fuel reduction. In Skiatook, local properties range from established residential neighborhoods under mature shade trees to rural acreages and shoreline lots. Dense clay soils and rocky Ozark terrain create shallow root plates, leaving tall post oaks, red maples, and pecans susceptible to windthrow and ice loading during severe Oklahoma storms.
Local Dispatch & Regional Utility Coordination
Our crew regularly travels throughout Skiatook and Tulsa, responding to storm damage and routine tree care. We understand local power line easements, coordinate with regional electric utilities for service drops, and navigate tight access properties with specialized rigging gear that keeps heavy equipment off sensitive lawns.
Owner-Operated Care for Skiatook Trees
- No Zip Code Gouging: Fair, honest quotes based strictly on work difficulty and hauling volume.
- ANSI A300 Compliance: We never top shade trees; we thin and reduce crowns naturally.
- Thorough Cleanup: Chipping, limb haul-off, and ground raking leave your yard spotless.

“Joyce Tree Service did a great job cutting down my beautiful but severely damaged maple. He communicated clearly, was prompt, and cleared debris. I can highly recommend this service.”
“We really appreciate you taking your time to leave a review. We hated for your maple to go but we are glad you chose us to take it down. Please reach out if you have any more issues. Hopefully not soon.”
“Austin, the owner of Joice Tree Service, came and gave me a free estimate on a tree that had fallen on my shed during a storm. He was one of the few who actually returned my call, and texted/called me when he was headed here. Austin showed up when he said he would, and gave me a very fair bid. He was clear about what he was going to do to keep damage to my shed to a minimum. He detailed my options including cost impacts. We discussed ways I could save money by leaving the wood in chunks, etc. Finally, we went over what he was and wasn't going to do so there wasn't any confusion. He reviewed his qualifications, and showed me previous completed jobs. I wouldn't have any hesitation recommending him to friends & family. In fact, I'm going to have him back out to bid some tree work in the fall.”
“Thank you so much for the kind words and for trusting Joice Tree Service with your storm damage. We truly appreciate you taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We believe that clear communication, showing up when we say we will, and keeping property damage to an absolute minimum is what honest tree care is all about.”

He is very polite, and a brilliant young man. Very knowledgeable on tree service. I highly recommend him for future services. Very good at his job.
